On October 21, 2026, as part of the Career Day event organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Technical Sciences Vocational School, Adil GÜRKAN, a representative of Kilit Hospitality Group, and his team met with our students.
The event aimed to enable our students to communicate directly with sector representatives and to closely understand the expectations of the business world; career opportunities in the tourism and accommodation sector, professional development processes, employment opportunities, and preparation for working life were discussed. Adil GÜRKAN and his team highlighted the importance of professional qualifications and practical training in career development by sharing their experiences in the sector with our students.
In the second part of the event, a Digital Internship System Introduction and Information Meeting was held for our second-year students by our Faculty Member Buğra DAĞCI. During the meeting, comprehensive information was provided about internship application and tracking processes, procedures to be conducted through the digital system, and the functioning of the internship automation. Students' questions regarding the application were answered, and information was provided to conduct internship processes more effectively and systematically.
The event, which supports our students' transition from education to working life and strengthens the collaboration between the sector and higher education, was an important meeting in terms of professional development and career planning.
Our vocational school thanks Adil GÜRKAN and the Kilit Hospitality Group team for their valuable contributions to the event; it aims to continue supporting our students' professional development through sector meetings and career-oriented activities.
